Jesus said, “My purpose is to give life in all its fullness. I am the Good Shepherd and know my own sheep, and they know me, just as my Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.”
From Chapter 10 of John’s account of Jesus’ life (Translation: Living Bible)

Jesus promises you life in all its fullness but what does that mean?
Can a life be full without adversity? Can there be courage without fear? Can anger bring change?
What does love look like? Where does faith come in? How about hope? Or God?

For four days at the start of August 2025 we are opening up our Leith Walk building with displays about life, prayer and faith. Drop in for free tea and coffee. Explore our displays and activities. Chat if you want, or sit quietly and absorb the atmosphere of a beautiful Victorian church.
Life is complex. We might end up with more questions than answers but the discussion itself is important.
What to expect
Enter by the main doors on Leith Walk, pass through the sliding glass doors and then through the café area into the main room of the church through the doors to your right. (Follow the signs!) Pick up a information sheet on the way. Disabled access is via the door on the corner of Pilrig Street and Leith Walk. Please ring the bell.

The main room is full of pews – you can’t miss it. There will be activities and displays there. Feel free to interact or to just sit and listen to the music. If you would like someone to pray with you, please sit in the marked area
Members of the church are in the café area to talk and answer questions. Come and have refreshments once you’ve had a look round. If you like, you can discuss talking points from the sheet or the displays. If you’d prefer to talk about the weather, that’s fine too!

We hope you are made to think by the activities on offer, maybe even challenged, but we also want you to be relaxed and have fun. Our aim is a safe space for all, regardless of age, gender, racial origin, belief or sexual orientation.
Come in and explore.
Chat, crafts, coffee… church
We are also exploring. What does it mean to be a church in modern Scotland? Where do we go from here? How can we share the love of God with those around us in a way that’s relevant and people can understand?

Full Life @ Leith Walk is one step along that road. We’d love you to come along and share the journey with us.
We believe God became a person in Jesus to show us how to live and to reveal God to us in a way we can understand. Jesus died to fix our relationships with God and with each other. He returned to life to bring us hope for this world and the next.
