The Leith Festival Gala Day takes place at Leith Links on Saturday 14th June. We have booked space for two stalls. Part of the space will be used to tell people about Leith and Restalrig Church, who we are and what we do.
We also intend to run a fundraising tombola stall and are looking for donations of new or unused items to be used as prizes, such as toiletries, fancy goods, stationery, clothing accessories, ornaments, jewellery, alcohol and soft toys. Please hand in your donations on any Sunday till the end of May. There is a box at the Church door where you can leave your donations.
SORRY: we cannot accept bric-a-brac, books, electrical items, clothing or perishable goods.
We are also looking for anyone who can help to volunteer on the stall, even just for an hour or two. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Please speak to Stuart Lithgow or email [email protected] for further details.
We have still to decide who we will be raising funds for. If you have any suggestions of local charities, please speak to Stuart or any member of the Kirk Session.
